A collective is a group of individuals that share at least one common issue or interest, or work together on a specific project to achieve a common objective. 

Objective
Our goal is to motivate young women tap into what is within them and use those gifts and treasures to pursue their purpose and accomplish their goals.  Through “The Collective: POW”, we want to provide opportunities for young women to be able to apply what they know and build a support system that helps maximize the potential God has placed inside them.  We hope to reduce feelings of alienation, not add to the stresses of everyday life.  Thus, we will strive to create an atmosphere for young women to freely express their struggles, defeats, victories, and weaknesses.

Statement of Need
Social interaction is always a good way to stay encouraged, empowered, and informed.  As, Christians, we should always seek ways to connect with one another.  I have observed that there is a cry that is emanating from the hearts of young women, unlike any other, during this time.  After communicating with other young women, alike, we agreed that POW is needed and those who join would benefit.  This burning desire inspired us to form a collective that provides an environment where young women can be open, comfortable, uplifted, informed, and encouraged to pursue all God has in store for them.
Group Description
P.O.W will function as a sisterhood and a peer group, united and encouraging each other through the word of God.
P.O.W will provide opportunities (community service) for young women to find out what they are passionate about and use their gifts.
P.O.W is open to women from ages 18-35.
P.O.W will cohesively target issues that need to be addressed (via monthly discussions or teaching).

P.O.W will provide ways to enjoy life (social events: movies, games, concerts, etc)
