National Thank You Month – January

When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the morning light, for your life and strength. Give thanks for your food, and the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies with yourself.” Tecumseh, Shawnee Chief

As adults, we sometimes forget to be thankful.  We often focus on the difficulties and on the things that are not going right, and sometimes we lose sight of the things that are going well and the blessings that we have received.

Tips For Celebrating National Thank You Month:
  • Make a list of all that you are thankful for in your worklife and personal life.  Be specific.  True blessings are the things in your life that resonate importance and touch your core.
  • Look at that list when you are feeling down and use it to pick up your spirits and keep you moving forward
Life is never perfect and there are always more mountains to climb.  But remember what you have achieved and never forget the blessings that you have received along the way.
